    Exact language remains discoverable without embeddings or an LLM. The local FTS/MCP foundation exists; the public archive currently searches only title and speaker.

    Users can search exact words and phrases across full talk text, inspect every occurrence in context, filter and sort results, and open stable passage-level links. Results are exhaustive and explain how the query was interpreted.

    Semantic search

    Meaning-based retrieval complements rather than replaces exact lexical search, using a rebuildable vector projection of the Markdown corpus.

    Done when

    Users can retrieve conceptually related passages, combine semantic results with metadata facets, and follow every result to its exact talk and passage. Evaluation on a committed query set demonstrates useful recall and citation accuracy.

    Curated subject timelines

    Annotated chronological paths show how a subject develops across conference discourse. Gathering Israel and temple building are already published as the first two threads.

    The public site renders maintained, human-curated subject threads in chronological order, with an annotation and stable talk link for every entry.

    Public reading web app

    A visitor with very little technical ability can browse, search, follow timelines, and read the corpus without an account.

    Done when

    The deployed site provides accessible desktop and mobile journeys for discovery and reading; it explains provenance without overwhelming readers. Dark mode is welcome polish, not a V1 gate.

    Deployment and correction loop

    The public edition stays tied to evidence on main and gives readers a low-friction way to report transcription, metadata, or source errors.
